Terms & Conditions

1. Service Description
Athens Cooking Classes provides hands-on culinary experiences focused on teaching the secrets of authentic Greek cuisine. These experiences are designed to be interactive, educational, and culturally enriching.
Our service is a provision of knowledge and experience, not a food service. We do not operate as a restaurant, nor do we store or serve pre-prepared meals. Participants cook their own dishes under our guidance and may decide whether or not they wish to consume what they have prepared.
The primary goal is to learn, connect, and enjoy the experience of Greek cooking.
2. Guest Responsibility
Each guest is responsible for the preparation of their own meal, including the handling of all ingredients and cooking equipment. Our team provides guidance, instruction, and supervision, but participants are actively involved in every step.
Guests accept full responsibility for the preparation and potential consumption of their food. Choosing whether to eat the dishes they prepare is entirely up to them.
Please notify us in advance of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or other health concerns that may affect your participation.
3. Ingredients & Shopping
Ingredients are selected fresh and seasonally, either:
-
As part of a shared market experience, or
-
By Athens Cooking Classes on your behalf, when time or logistics do not permit your participation.
By booking with us, guests authorize us to source the freshest possible ingredients when necessary. All items are purchased specifically for your session and are not stored for future use.
4. Health & Safety
We uphold strict hygiene standards in our space. However, as guests are cooking for themselves, we encourage them to follow basic safety practices (tie back hair, wear closed shoes, follow instructions carefully).
Participation is at your own risk. By joining our classes, you waive any liability for injury or dissatisfaction, except in cases of proven negligence.
5. Cancellation Policy
-
More than 7 days before the class: Full refund
-
3 to 7 days before the class: 50% refund
-
Less than 3 days before the class or no-show: Non-refundable
If an emergency prevents you from attending, we may be able to reschedule your experience, subject to availability.
6. Late Arrivals
Shared classes begin on time. If you’re running late, please notify us immediately. Guests arriving more than 20 minutes late may not be able to join the full experience.
7. Children & Families
Children are welcome under adult supervision. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing children so we can make any necessary adjustments.
8. Photography & Media
Photos or short videos may be taken during your class for promotional use. If you prefer not to appear in any content, simply let us know at the beginning of your session.
9. Payment Terms
All bookings must be paid in full to be confirmed. Payments are securely processed via our booking system.
